Not sure, bro' - however I can recommend another program CLICKSTER , that works great with 98 and 98se

It's FREE and safe (no sharing) It's not a P2P or torrent.
It's mainly for MP3s though, if that's your thing. edit: (btw... it has v. fast download speeds)

yeah ill check that out
i was gonna use mediamonkey, but when i finish add files to my library and try to play a song, it just goes thru my entire library not making a peep
