I want to prevent users on Win2k&XP Pro workstations saving any files locally, but allaowing onto a network share. This is just so data is always backed up and dont have to rely on users to do it.

hey hmm I might get u an answer sometime
my school has the function u're looking for
actually it would be best if you ask them yourself
they don't like me very much I eat too much bandwidth they already threw me out of the network...
www.psu.edu or better http://its.psu.edu/help.html
we can install per user programs to our networked drive which we have access from everywhere in the lan. and when someone logins to a specific computer their id gets created in documents and settings\BAH\ for example and gets deleted the next day I guess or might even be at user log-off
I would love to help but as I said they don't like me and they could be suspicious of me thinking maybe I'm trying to manipulate something
