Finally after a whole year Windows Vista SP1 has become RTM.

Public Release should be February 15 or so

Yes it is

Microsoft are releasing this build on February 4 2008 to manufacturing department,
I stumbled across this build from an invite from Microsoft.

P.S (I shouldn’t say this but CN Server is still active and works against original PID).

Just asking 'cause people are throwing around "6001.18000.080126-2040" saying 6001.18000.080118-1840 had a major bug, but failed to say anything about the bug. I even heard a 6001.18000.080131-1830. Of course none of these really have any solid source except 6001.18000.080118-1840 being the build of SP1 RC1 Refresh 2 and people feel that it needs an official "it's done" label .

It improves performance quite a bit, tames trustedinstaller.exe, and makes it feel snappier overall with Aero enabled.

If only my university allowed downloading Vista from MSDN-AA like they do for XP... I have to go pickup the CDs/DVDs, but I'm nowhere near school right now. Oh well...
