phew... With XP Boot Floppies? Yay, maybe...

My XP Boot Floppies have different files than my srv03 ones... but try the following:

1. Take the xp bootfiles ( i did it with the server2003 ones in english to make them german...)
2. Take your original Setup Disk of Server2003
3. Copy SETUPREG.HIV, SETUPLDR.BIN, NTDETECT.COM and NTDLL.DLL from your setupdisk (in I386\) and paste them to your bootfloppyfiles in the root. Now copy SYSTEM32 directory (also in I386\) to the root of your bootfloppyfiles.

Hummm, I don't know exactly, if this is all you have to do because I copied very much files until I got it german. Maybe you have to copy the files:

KSECDD.SYS
NTFS.SYS
SPCMDCON.SYS

from I386\ from setupdisk to the root of the bootfloppyfiles... maybe...

good luck! :)

hmmm ... sth about 2k3 seems wrong ... patched all files according to flyakite guide (great work, man!).

But when i boot it up (already in setup, blue background and stuff ...), it says "Cant find volsnap.sys" ... buit the file is there (volsnap.sy_ in setup\w2003srv\ent\i386). Is it possible that i have to point the setupsources to the i386 folder for win2k3? Pointing it to XP/2K folder (parentfolder of i386 in my dvd) worked withouzt problems ... the same in 2003 does not

If your computer is so old that it doesn't support booting from cd, it's probably not compatible with server 2003 anyway.
