underxp
Try to get from Microsoft a new DVD with SP1 preintegrated, is the best option for a fresh-updated Vista. Or, try the reverse integrated metod.
Cloaky
Try to get from Microsoft a new DVD with SP1 preintegrated, is the best option for a fresh-updated Vista. Or, try the reverse integrated metod. That wouldn't help.... cuz in like, one month i will need another cd with the new updates LOL. I already saw a software that downloads the Windows XP updates, but i need one for Vista. And What is the "reverse integrated metod"? Legolash2o
i put in "Vista x64-based" without the qoutes or just click here Edited February 13, 2008 by legolash2o
underxp
SP1 is only a couple of HotFixes in one installer, and take about 1 hour to install in a Vista RTM. If you have a new DVD with SP1 preintegrated, after install Vista WU will download only post-SP1 updates. Reverse integration is a method to create a pseudo-Vista DVD installer with SP1 already in it (installed but NOT slipstreamed) Edited February 14, 2008 by underxp
IndustrialAeon
I've been getting my hotfix packs from RyanVM's site, and I believe this is exactly what you want. RyanVM.net Forums

IndustrialAeon
Actually, they've got several Vista-specific hotfix packs. Go to http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/, click on "Other Update Packs", select "Windows Vista" and there you go! I am using Fox's Vista vLite Update Integration Pack with Vista Business Edition. Works like a charm! Edited February 18, 2008 by IndustrialAeon
