Hello,
I can't seem to activate windows after I succesfully installed from USB. It says I need to activate before I can login and when I do so it says activation cant be completed. Shouldn't I get 30 days before I would have to activate?

Semi-random ideas and questions:
Is your product key legitimate and valid? If yes have you tried the phone activation, even talk to a live person?
Is your system date valid?
Is your source Nlited or slimmed down other way?
I really wonder how using described here procedure may screw up your activation, apart from messing with source. In last versions ALL files and folders from source\I386 are copied to USB stick, so there should not be missing files.
About your straight question "Shouldn't I get 30 days before I would have to activate?" if I was you with a valid key, I would simply call Microsoft.
