Hi, recently I have to find a program that lets you put to movie files in one for my project. For example if I'm going to show a similarity between The Simpsons and Family Guy, I want to show like 2 different screens of both similarities.

For my project I have to do is that I need to present 2 clips of movie and combine them together like shown above. IE On movie 1 I would show a clip of Homer skateboarding and on movie 2 I would show Peter skateboarding to. So please if you guys know any program that let me put to movie into 1, let me know. Thanks.

That would take real video editing software. So, you need to capture all the fragments and render them together again, making a complete new presentation.

I’m sure the guys here know of a free video editing program, Adobe premiere can do it but isn’t for free and a bit pricy if you use it only one time although you could check the software out for a trail period. Download it here.

I believe AVISynth can do that using StackHorizontal(). But it has a steep learning curve, as you must put all your edits into a text script. Basically you write the 'program' in Notepad and use your media player to preview the result when needed.
