I have a small issue that I hope someone can help me with.
Maybe I am going about this all wrong, but this is what I do.
I have created a vista ghost image where I have run sysprep using the unattend switch prior to ghosting up the image.
The Switch points to an autounattend.xml file located in C:\windows\system32\sysprep folder. After sysprep has run the system shuts down. I then ghosted the image.
When I pull the image back down to new machine and the new machine boots back up, the autounattend file I created is not used.
I know that it is not used because, the PC is not added to the domain, and all the setting changes I made are not reflected.
Before I ghosted the image up I tested the autounattened and it worked like a champ.
After the image is pulled down, sysprep looks like it is running but it does not apply all of the changes that I need done.
I run the sysprep again and the autounattend file I created is used once again.

Keep in mind when joining a domain you need to input the exact domain name, username and password, otherwise it'll fail to integrate into the domain and skip that step in the unattended setup.
- ← UxTheme Vista SP1 RTM
- Unattended Windows Vista/Server 2008
- install vista from hard(setup.exe) 100%....but from boot cd do not wor →
