Hi there!

Is there any way to disable that every time I copy a file to a folder then windows modify it's date to the current date and time, so I lose the original creation date from the list view in total commander.
It is a very ugly function to me.
I tried a registry setting and an fsutil from command line but no effect.
Please help me.

  • Have you tried turning it off and on again?

no, because the date is the "Last Modified Date" and a copy counts as a modification, sorry!

Awwww :(

I don't get it why is this only on NTFS? I used FAT32 before, but i need to make big files and use NTFS...On FAT32 there was no such thing...
It is bad....is there any other file system which i can use in xp with a driver or something? I hate this service.
Is this service really unstoppable? :(
