mp3 post-processing in ubuntu for amarok? Rate Topic: -----

i use ffdshow on windows to add stuff like crystality, freeverb etc to make my mp3s sound "fuller". i was wondering if there's something similar for linux?

One nice thing about Linux is that there is no shortage of audio editing tools. Try out Audacity (also available for Windows).

It's also in Ubuntu's repository

 sudo apt-get install audacity


You might also want to try Jokosher.

http://www.jokosher.org/download

sudo dpkg -i nameofpackage.deb

i find audacity hard to use. i'm looking for something more generic like ffdshow that does it to everything, just check the box; no manual editing needed.
