Hi there
My computer is in a workgroup and I want to share the files so that everyone have access to my files (with read permission only!) so I shared my files. But now when someone tries to access my computer, my computer asks for a username and pass. I don't want it, I want the users to access the files without providing any 'user&pass', I mean to access anonymously
I found this entry:
Network Access:sharing and security model for local accounts
Classic - local users authenticate as themselves

in 'group policy'-> 'security option'
I think the problem is from it :realmad: . finally my OS is windows XP professional edition SP2.
Hope to provide enough information!
