Hello i'm new to the neighborhood. I'm having problems with my KDS monitor. there was a previous topic here but it died and was a year old. so i thought i'd start my own. (here's the link to the old topic: http://www.msfn.org/...cd-t102366.html )

I have a 19" LCD monitor:
Brand: KDS
Product Number: k917s
Model Number: 900d

my problem with this monitor is that i'll turn it on, it'll show a perfect picture and then it will turn instantly black. the bulm isn't going out because it worked for quite a while. then i turned it off and when i tried to turn it back on it was fine for a second and then went black. I've taken it apart and triend disconnecting and reconnecting the lcd screen with the cables but the problem still persists. I've read that there are some problems with power supply because of bad caps or something along those lines... any help would be appreciated... i can provide pictures too if that would help.
