the icon, the thumbnail, but I dont think you can change the background of the actual folder. Though, I may be wrong.
To change icon or thumbnail simply click the folder with the right mouse button, and hit properites then customize. From there you will see the options to change the thumbnail or icon.

[color=indigo:85bff32ff2]You CAN change the bgimage, but you have to create a new desktop.ini for that folder, and I don't know the syntax. Also, place the image in the folder itself.[/color:85bff32ff2]

Yup you have to edit some values in the desktop.ini and it works.

I found this nifty little program that does the same job..

I can't remember where I found out but I'll host it on my geocities account for a few days...

I apologize for the inconveniance. It works for me, not sure why geocities is being evil about it.

[b:6647f6f13e]Piaqt[/b:6647f6f13e] would you like me to email it to you?

I'm glad you like it. It's a nice little app.

Ya piaqt, just get it off that site. I guess it was in the readme file (opps never read it :) )

It's called Background wizard.
