Problem with desktop icon "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop"? ... Rate Topic: -----

The icons on the desktop have blue shadows behind it and so do the labels have blue background.
I wanna remove them but I don't know how.

I remember I can do it thru the "properties" of "My Computer", that is,
Right-click on My Computer & choose Properties,
Go to Advanced tab,
Click Settings in the Performance section,
Check the box of "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop".


But it's not successful. Any comment?
