Applications NOT remembering passwords? Rate Topic: -----

I recently did a system restore on my HP system and after installing all the applications I use, I'm noticing that the Foxmarks extension in Firefox isn't remembering my password even though I checking the box to Remember Password and also Yahoo Messenger isn't remembering the password.

Please advise me what may be the cause and what can be done to resolve this annoyance?
