Hello everyone.

Im going to soon be buying a large sata drive and i was looking around the net and saw that i might have some problems installing it.

i am currently makeing an automated xp install cd. and was wondering if i can inculde sata drivers in it , or if the drivers are specific to the hard drive i get or if there is a generic set, so i can get my cd ready?

if anyone could shed some light on this subject i would really apreciate it!!

The drivers are specific to the controller, not the drive. If you have the drivers for the SATA controller on your mainboard integrated into your cd you're all done.
