Hello,

I've been trying all evening to install Win XP SP2 on an Asus K8V Deluxe mobo. I don't have any working floppies and the floppy drive on the computer is toast anyways. It's been acting as an air filter for the last 3 or 4 years.

I've built out a bootable disc from an official Win XP SP2 installer disc, plus the K8V Deluxe disc that came with the mobo. I tried installing just the Promise and Via drivers and then made another install with the entire driver folder off the K8V disc. Neither of which worked.

Every time I get to the XP install screen where it asks you to hit enter to install a fresh copy of XP, no drives can be seen.

I'm about at my wits end here. I've been at this for hours now with no success.

Any help wold be greatly appreciated.
