I created an Nlited XP Pro CD about 6 months ago. It has just now come to my attention that none of those PCs (10 of them) can burn CDs. They cant burn CDs using Explorer or any third party app I installed. The drive IS recognized as a burner.

I'm wondering what I could have removed to cause this. I generally dont remove components but I dont have the disc to check what was removed. I think only some drivers and tweaks were added.

I really dont want to reinstall XP on all of them (that was the way I was able to fix the one I've worked on.)

Even a Windows Repair didn't fix it.

I tried swapping physical drives to try and kick into gear but that didn't help either.

I have tried the MS help regarding CD burner issues.

Any ideas would be very welcome.

meh- I looked all over for that CD but cant find it. I was hoping the nlite ini would give me a hint. I used Bashrats driver pack I usually use Mass storage and Lan. Maybe I should check over there.
