Harry_O Posted April 14, 2008 Share Posted April 14, 2008 (edited) I've recently restored my vista to its factory settings using the system recovery manager and since then i can't use my usb ports. Every time I plug in some usb device (gsm, printer or removable discs) I receive the following error massage :I can use some of the devices (like my cell phone via nokia PCsuite) but the error massage keeps popping up.Can someone help me? tux linux Posted April 14, 2008 Share Posted April 14, 2008 Extract and run the following reg fix:http://www.winhelponline.com/fileasso/drivefix_vista.zipReboot.If that doesn't work then do the following:Click StartType: cmd [enter]Right-click cmd when it appears under ProgramsClick Run As AdministratorAt the command prompt, type:sfc /scannow [enter] Reboot.
