i am trying to run a silent uninstall for norton security Scan, and have run into some issues. :wacko: this is the first time I have ever run a script, so I could use a little help.

I can run this from the cmd prompt and it will bring up the Norton option to pick the radio button to either remove or repair. The repair button is checked by default. I need to know how to make this a silent uninstall so I can push it out to all locations on our LAN.

thanks for any help.

MsiExec.exe /I{3A4FFB84-D070-4DA5-AB7B-D41D87FD8D19}

the registry key is as follows:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{3A4FFB84-D070-4DA5-AB7B-D41D87FD8D19}
