Please help me guys, ive got some problems with windows pe. after booting it loads the files as it normally does...then bootscreen, then it starts the normal windowsgui and starts networking... BUT THEN, it asks me if i want to shutdown or reboot or to quit.if i use quit, i come to the normal console... but if i want to start files like txt or something it does not open editpad but prompts an errormessage... BTW, I think the problem is the WINPE-Directory in the CDroot which should be on(WHERE?) on the dvd...

please help me;D

thanks

BTW BartPE had moved onto v3.0.24 and now comes with a lot of basic plugins which give you a decent GUI to work from. If you check Bart's site you will find links to plugins used/developed by other people as well.

I personally have used it and once you do you won't go back to your "WinPE"
