it should work just fine. However, I've got to ask - why on earth are you running XP with no service packs?! :unsure:

Seems like a kind of crazy thing to do... :wacko:

My computer at home doesn't have any service packs installed... but I do have USB 2.0 functionality. :ph34r:

But... why wouldn't you apply the service packs, other than just to be stubborn? It seems like a bad idea - MS stopped offering security updates to SP1 users about a year ago, I do't even know how long it's been since SP0 was supported... :blink:

My computer was set up by my old company. Windows update does not work because it tries to look for a SUS which doesn't exist. However I have no problems with it and apply fixes only if i need to.
