i just applied this patch and it worked **** well..

To view the dllcache folder u need to click on tools > folder options

then click on the view tab

then uncheck the checkbox next to where it says "Hide protected operating system files" and move the checkbox of another selection from "Do not show hidden files and folders" to "Show all files"

then u should be able to see the dllcache folder

good luck :)

the dllcache IS present

just that the uxtheme.dll file is not in there

to see the dllcache folder, u will have to unhide it

i.e. explorer, view, options, 2nd tab, unhide

or simply go to explorer address bar and type

c:windowssystem32dllcache

please don't ask your questions in two threads... it gets confusing to all of us who want to help each other out.

Use Blackwar's instructions he replied to your other thread:

or if you can use the instructions i posted which don't deal with windows file protection so no need to go into the dllcache folder and it still works 100%

In folder options make sure to do the following:

Check Show hidden files

uncheck hide extentions to known file types

uncheck hide protected operating system files

You should have it on a fat32 system (I'm pretty sure about it..I have winxp on a fat32 machine and it's there)
