Hi all,
since several days i'm trying to solve a problem on a Windows 2003 SB Server.
It is a default installation with Exchange, Outlook and SQL. For some reason i'm not able to make a connection the the SQL server from the sharepoint config site which is by default http://localhost:8081 If i try to setup the configuration db from this site i get the error message that the login is denied for NT Authority/Network..
However, the SQL Server itself is working fine if i use the Enterprise Manager. I have full read/write/create access to all db tables.
I know that other people run in to the same problem but i didn't find any solution.
I would be thankful for any hint or idea since i'm running out of it :-)
Peter

Depending on how SQL is configured, you have windows logon or SQL logon. Its seems like SQL logon is only enabled. And you are trying to access SQL with a Windows Account.

Try enabling the other function .... I really have no experience in this, just did one single MCSE SQL course, nothing really that fancy ... but maybe, just maybe its this .. :)

I already configured SQL to accept both logon, SQL and Windows account.
Didn't change anything :)
