Giving switches is like giving options for the install. For example the /S switch here will make the .exe be executet silently (no user needed). For every program there are different switches.
- Yes, that will just open/execute the program but with certain parameters/switches/options (you name it ;)).

Hey I got it to install silently but then Internet Explorer poped up and a box where I had to click OK. Any one know how to stop this from happening

Same thing happened to me, IE popuped and I had to click OK on "BitTorrent has been successfully installed" as well.

This is what I used:
REG ADD %KEY%\025 /VE /D "BitTorrent" /f
REG ADD %KEY%\025 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\Install\BitTorrent\bittorrent-3.3.exe /s " /f

Any ideas how to make it real silent?

I would suggest moving to shadows experimental, or a different one that can be installed silently...I like shadows, but thats personal opinion...www.bittornado.com is his

Thanks. I have tried that one as well, but I got some problems on my network which made original 3.4.2 and the http://bittornado.com one not working. The only one I can use is original 3.3. I don't know if they changed some network settings in the newer. I will try it again with the new one. I had another router last time I tried, so hopefully it works with this new router.

The /s switch didn't work for me with BitTornado 0.3.7 :(

I had to confirm the install path and click OK and then I had to click Close at the end of the installation.

This is what I run:
REG ADD %KEY%\025 /VE /D "BitTorrent" /f
REG ADD %KEY%\025 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\Install\BitTorrent\BitTornado-0.3.7-w32install.exe /s " /f

Any ideas?

Shadow's BT client doesn't need any installing - just RAR up your existing directory and SFX it.
