Also, it would be nice if someone could test latest beta and give some feedback. For me everything is running fine, but I would like to see other people results, so I can isolate all possible problems. Till now I just found one small bug with reading product name for some product, but this bug can NOT affect slipstreaming in any way.

Have tested beta6: Couldn't find anything strange, everything looks very good with my setup:
O2003 Pro (Swe) with SP3 & subsequent hotfixes, ChainInstall, unattended install and check
with MS update.
Thanks

The only way that I have found to fix this problem is to edit the PRO11.msi file using Orca. This method works. I expected your fix to edit this file, but it does not.

Fix should edit file automatically. When did you apply the fix, before slipstream of after? And can you upload the log file when you tried the fix? Thanks.

OK. I'll add option for automatic apply after slipstream. I made this Fix to be run manually because it seems that not everybody has this problem.

until stumbling into this forum about a month or two ago, i've always done all my updating via AutoPatcher - http://www.autopatcher.com/
since the stumble-upon, i've been *LOVING* the whole slipstreaming, from IE7 to WMP11 to AutoIt RunOnce's...
i have a question revolving around the slipstreamed hotfixes - in a nutshell, how can i VERIFY that they've been installed...
it "might" be an AutoPatcher thing, not sure yet, but AutoPatcher says SP3 is installed, but none of the 11 hotfixes selected to have been slipstreamed...
i'm a LEGIT owner of my Office CD, but i AVOID "Microsoft Update" sites AT ALL COSTS (for the same paranoiac reasons that i "boycott" GOOGLE, lol)...
but i guess if i MUST go to Microsofts "update" site for 'verification', i guess that's an option as a LAST RESORT...
edit: forgot to mention - Office 2003 on Win XP Pro, both fully patched (aiming to "shrink" a fully-patched Office 2k3 with 'verifiable' proof that the hotfixes are 'embedded')...
