How to disable numlock - POST install Rate Topic: -----

I made a unattended xp cd using nlite. Being the id*** I am, I made the setting so numlock would auto start at boot.

The problem is, I installed it on a laptop. So this is a huge annoyance. Is there a registry edit I can do, to turn off numlock at boot?
I really dont want to have to do a complete reinstall.

2 options:

1) Look in the BIOS, there might be a setting that overwrites the Windows setting. (just a guess)

2) Try this suggestion from MS

Yes it's that key.
HKEY_USERS\.Default\Control Panel\Keyboard\InitialKeyboardIndicators
Just replace 2 by 0.
