So I just reformatted (not the <Quick> option, the full one that takes like an hour) and installed Windows XP SP2 Pro. I installed .NET Framework 2.0 SP1 (x86) from the nLite website first, then installed nLite successfully. However, when I try to run nLite, it gives me a pop-up error that says:

Quote

nLite.exe - Application Error
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). Click on OK to terminate the application.

And the only option to click is OK.

Why can I not run nLite?

When I installed Windows I used the CD I got from the store (the shiny orangish colored one) and I did not edit anything. I've used nLite before but on a different computer
