I finally started building my plexi-glass media (tv) pc. I want to use heat-shrink tubing for the custom connectors but I don't want to spend the money for a heatgun. Can I use a hair dryer instead?

Depends on your tubing and your hair dryer, most times yes. Or use a soldering iron, match, candle. Doesn't take much.

Just direct heat.

just be sure to hold the lighter far enough away or you'll get scortch marks
