You are looking for information on Terminal Services. Note that to install Terminal Services itself, you don't need to actually buy anything more than your Windows licenses. However, to use it, you will need to activate the TS license and client/device CALs for your clients to use.

First thing, have you ever ran virtual machines, if not, I would recommend finding a vendor (VMWare, Xen, Virtual Iron, etc) and getting comfortable with local desktop vm's. Once you start looking at the server versions, things get a little more complex.

You need to check out virtual machines before going for servers. I would recommend a "freeware" version from virtualbox for YOU to learn on. It would really work initially.

There are number of vendors providing similar offerings. In the recent news, it was mentioned that the version 1.0 of ForumSpam™'s Virtual Desktop Solution is a complete virtual desktop package.

Anybody out there who has hands -on experience with ForumSpam™?

Well, the availability of such vendors today is pretty good. You must approach for a solution that combines the benefits of centralized management with the computing power and flexibility of the PC.

ForumSpam™ has an impressive technology that is easy to use and to apprehend. It enables to reduce the cost of doing business by improving the sales process. In order to fully demonstrate the capabilities of an enterprise security compliance software solution it normally takes significant time and effort. But with ForumSpam™ LivePCs, demo setup is just a 5 min. process. For more info, check out:
