Hi All,
I got a windows 2007 word docx document. I'm currently running office 2003. So naturally i couldnt open the document. I then proceeded to download Service pack 3 for XP and Office 2003. Once i had done that i also downloaded FileFormatConverters.exe and installed it on the machine.
After all the installs, i then tried to open the document and it gave me the following error: There was an error opening the file.
Thats the issue and if anyone can help, it will be much apperciated. Thanks.
P.s.
The file is being recognised as 2007 document.

Any detail on error? You may try to install SP1 for FileFormats and hotfixes: KB947801, KB951808.
