Getting ready to make a splipstreamed XP Professional CD to incorporate Service Pack 3. Question though, and I couldn't find a definite answer on Microsoft's website. If I am slipstreaming from an ORIGINAL XP CD (does NOT include SP2), does SP3 already include everything from SP2, or do I need to slipstream BOTH SP2 and SP3? Also, if my original CD includes SP2, is it better to slipstream SP3 against that, or go from an original without SP2?

many asked ... and asked .. and asked ... please search & read the board before posting ...
btw, for the Welcome on the msfn community , this is answer :
SP3 is cumulative from SP0 ... so it's include all updates of SP2 & SP1
You can integrate to your SP0 disc without problem except one thing, you can't skip "serial/license number question", if you integrated SP3 into SP1 you can skip "serial/license number question" same as vista ... btw, volume media always require "serial/license number" license" even with integrated SP3 to SP1 disc ...
Have a nice day !

Slipstream SP3 over your WinXP SP0 copy. It works perfectly for me.
