Hi there,

Just a quick query to see if anyone else is having problems with vLite'd installations regarding Monitor Hibernation?

Regardless of what profiles/options are set in the Power Options in the Control Panel the monitor still goes blank after 15-20 minutes.

This occurs on both my vLite'd Vista SP1 x86 machines, which isn't really a problem for my workstation, but now starting to getting frustrating on my home theater pc which just uses a remote. The reason I suspect it's a vLite issue is that my new lappy with a OEM install obeys the Power Options settings and so just wondering if either I've removed a component that causes this or if it's a bug in vLite?

Thanks,

Andrew.

Device manager, find monitor, right click and select power managment, disable as u want.
Control panel , Task scheduler there, Remove multi trancsient manager, at least disable. Close all and reboot.
