Are you having the same problem with both versions?

I can definitely see how slipstreaming WMP11 into the KN version would fail because HFSLIP assumes a source with either WMP9 or WMP10 built-in. So it's not supported there. But K should've worked.

My source files are original xpsp0 and sp2, not K version, nor KN version.

K version has WIN51KIP file in it's root without any extension.

And one more thing missed at 1st box, quick lunch dispeared, it's folder too.

Anyway I get K version -MSDN's included sp3, wmp9 & messenger - in the web and try hfslip

Results are same, wmp11 installed, but ie7, ..., didn't.

And it's hard to get MSDN's KN version, so it's difficult to hfslip with KN version, in time.

With Total Commander, I prepared my i386 source files after only intergrated xpsp0+sp2+sp3, and MSDN's i386 folder xpsp3 K version.

The only difference is sp2.cab and sp2.cat files are in it or not

In My source, there are sp2.cab and sp2.cat, but MSDN K version isn't.

I guessed they would be same, but didn't.

This means something ?

P.S. I found something.
xpsp0+sp2+sp3 has sp2.cab & sp2.cat and sp3.cab &sp3.cat in it's i386.
but xpsp0+sp2+sp3+ie7+wmp11 has only sp2.cat and sp3.cat.
this means something?

Now I'm trying again, maually copy sp2.cab and sp3.cab into.

Do you have any problems if you don't slipstream IE7? Maybe you should try the SVCPACK method (IE7SVCPACK=1 in HFANSWER.INI).

When you slipstream Service Pack 2, you will get SP2.CAB and SP2.CAT. When you slipstream Service Pack 3 over that, you get SP3.CAB and SP3.CAT but then SP2.CAB and SP2.CAT are no longer needed. The "problem" (if you want to call it like that) is that obsolete files are not removed when you slipstream a Service Pack.

This is because HFSLIP merges DRIVER.CAB with SP3.CAB by default and then deletes remaining SP*.CAB files.

I found what I missed.

1. Downloaded wbemoc.dll size was 0kb, my god....

2. rootsupdate.exe was previous version, I've got.

Within 2hours, I'll write that result.

Done, Perfectly !!!

But I have 3question

1. I have one more hotfix KB898461, inspite of all installed TomCat76' sp3 hotfixes, What about you?

2. What is the rootsupdate's function or what it does?

3. I want to integrate Rogspear's dotnet2.0sp1 in HFSVCPACK, it has no problem, too?

p.s. Well, here is very, very hot Summer, pardon me.
