hey all,

Question, i just installed 2k3 standard on a p2 400mhz, i just added more ram to that it runs fine. I installed norton corporate that works fine on my other computers, directx, blackice and thats it. Now when i startup the computer, after i wait a minute a blue screen comes up telling me to check my drivers of which i havent installed any, check for bios updates, and to turn of memory shadowing and memory caching....how do i do that? there is only one minor bios update, so ima try that, and i want to do the memory thing but i dont know how.

many thanks
tomas

What you are referring to is typical "Blue Screen" verbiage for numerous errors in Windows. What does the rest of the message say? For example 0x0000007d, 0x0000008e, 0x00000040. Maybe Unmountable_boot_volume, or irq_l_not_greter_or_equal...something along the lines of these would help us determine what is going on.

Thanks.

Rik
