Nice, but I have noticed that it sometimes blocks Firefox from launching
(it happened both in windows xp 64bit and 32bit editions, after removing CIS everything turned back to normal)

Thanx anyway for the effort...

With the recent update to CIS 3.5.55810.432, Comodo has rearranged their webpages in such a way that one cannot navigate to a page with a link to the older, Firewall only, versions.

Direct links to the older, firewall only installers:

CFP_Setup_English_2.4.18.184.exe (for Windows 2000)

CFP_Setup_3.0.25.378_XP_Vista_x32.exe

CFP_Setup_3.0.25.378_XP_Vista_x64.exe

I recommend holding off on an update for now.

Some bugs have been detected and are being fixed for a future release.

Keep an eye out next week for an updated version ;) !!

yep that is the exact reason why i am trying to make an addon that will be useful for both nlite and ryanvm integrator...

nlite is more like a switchless installer
and ryanvm integrator is just packing that in cab / 7z and hopefully everyone can go back using the latest version of this great product.

however this is easy to say but since this is my first addon i expect many difficulties so i promise nothing... but if i succeed in my trial and error i will post it over here, and will be tesing vmware install to test...

if vmware succeeds then i will consider the addon successful.

I just use JD's older CFP Firewall only xx.377 version and then run CFP's built in updater to make it current (xx.477). No need to keep updating the addon until a major version change happens.
