I don't get that icon display box I get an explorer view I have tested it with 1.2 Final still the same result. See screenshot?

That happened in earlier version than 1.2 Final when 7zs.sfx was missing. However, i fixed this in 1.2 Final. Can you check plugins folder one more time ?

Hi,

well this is a fantastic app! so far lovin it, however havin a slight issue when tryin to use it to do a silent installer of office 2003.
It goes through ok, then when it gets to the final point of "changing icons & strings" i get an AutoIT error, stating "error allocating memory"
Any ideas?!

Hi,

Just did a test and it worked fine for me. How much amount of RAM do you have ? Which is the size of your virtual memory ?
When SFXMaker changes the icon and the RT_VERSION strings, it opens the file(switchless installer) for writing and searches for binary raw data to replace. Icon is replaced succesfully (it is done via ResHacker) and the problem you have seems to be with the strings. I'll see what i can do about it

I really would love to use the program but could not find any guides or help.

Say I have a SFX config file like below:

Shortcut=P, utorrent.exe, "µTorrent 1.8.5", , "uTorrent 1.8.5 Build 17091",

How do I use the tool to enter this information and create the EXE?

Also what does create Nlite Addon do, is that grab the entries file from somewhere?

Hi,

You have to select the file you want to create a switchless installer for, specify the switches and a path for the switchless installer basically. Anyway, i write a manual for the next version.

Hi

In your case, SFXMaker cannot recognize the silent switches of the installer.
The detection engine is a bit outdated, will be updated in the next version.
Until then, the best choice for you is to search for switches online

It's a security warning with Windows 7 Security and not my Norton Security...

What's the problem?

Most likely, it's a false positive. I can't test it now because i'm on Windows XP, but i'll investigate further when i will have a Windows 7 system
