NTP on a Server clients work but not the server?? Rate Topic: -----

Hi

i have a server that tells my network the time it works with my client pcs without a problem but my server won´t get the time from this server only i log me on one server than he take the time but i will not logon every day their must be a way without a logon can anybody help me to fix this problem so i not have to logon every time

Is your Server Windows 2000 ? then make sure the Windows Time servcie is started. It will sync automatically. Is your Server NT4, then add the Windows Time Service from the NT4 Resource Kit.

it is a 2k server and a nt4 server there are 4 server with windows an some with linux and the ntp is started but it will only work if i logon.
