Well, hope someone can help me out here, my HP computer was working fine since installing SP1. Now I am getting system hangs on startup, if at the Vista logo the system hangs and the windows log on sounds gets stuck and provides a continual distorted sound. Have check that was installed via windows update, and have even re-imaged back a backup from the begining of may and ok for a while and then it happens again. Nothing has installed, so i am thinking it may be a hardware issue maybe??
