johnk963
I have been unable to get Smartepants' OEM SLP Activator to work with any of the 1.0 betas of WinSetupFromUSB, though it does work with v.23 if I copy the win51* files into the root of the USB drive as well as the individual XP setup folder(s) on the drive. Has anyone else run into this problem? Anyone have a solution?TIA

ilko_t
I guess you'd need to figure out what exactly that addon does and what paths it uses, thus what has to be changed in order to support different paths.Maybe good idea to ask where it's being developed. I have no clues, sorry.

ilko_t
Are you running Windows from USB device? jaclaz
The Physicaldrive0 should mean that the target USB stick ON which it is to be run the program is the device FROM which the PC has booted. Maybe it's a quirk of the BIOS.A good idea is to boot from internal hard disk or however connect the target USB device ON which you want to run the program AFTER having booted.jaclaz
ilko_t
It appears AutoIt internal function IniRead reads just the first section. Will have to dig in their support forums if it's a bug or expected behavior.Meanwhile, to get you going, just merge these two sections into single one.Sure , it's the good guys at MS that invented a stupid format where multiple sections with same name are possible.A similar issue has already been noted at the time and the original USB multiboot did use fedit "add once":http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=61384&st=393Maybe a good idea would be to pre-process these files to remove duplicate secions by merging them.Something like this:http://mindprod.com/project/inifiletidier.htmlhttp://mindprod.com/products1.html#INIhttp://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?autocom=Downloads&showfile=154http://www.codeproject.com/KB/applications/iniutils.aspxjaclazThanks for the links. Here is the thread in AutoIt forum:http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=113318I'll see what I can do when get a chance.
