The standard KTM logo looked boring, besides, i don't run 98. So i did this, a blend of classic 9x style and Vista Aurora. For all WinMe users out there. Also fixed a little typo that Tihiy made. :)

Download:

WinMe with classic logo:

Download DLL

WinMe with XP logo:

Win98 with XP logo:

Instructions:

How is this different/better compared to CoralSoft's task manager?

Tihiy's KTM is the RP7 ctrl-alt-del menu ported to UberSkin. I don't know about CoralSoft's task manager since i never used it.

It would be a lot better if you would lose the effects on the text...

Well, i kinda like them, but i'll tame them down a bit.

Edit: Another preview shot. I realized the classic windows logo isn't going to look nice here so i threw a little bit of XP in the mix. Not exactly what i wanted, but i guess it looks alright. I'll probably have to tweak the background color a little, it's all too blue.

No problem at all. Expect an update, i'm not done with that XP logo yet. :P Edit: Found a SVG version of the XP logo, with transparent background and no shadow. It allowed me to do this:

Shall we call it final? :D

Edit 2: I liked this one so much that i threw some XP in my WinMe KTM logo too. Check it out:

This looks ok....but for me it's too "spicy"....i mean to coloured and it looks like you cut something from an image and the another thing from another picture....i mean it's not blending very well.....and yea...it's tooo much! I think something simple will look a lot better, something airy, fresh.
Hope you don't mind that i criticized your work.....

Here is something that i've made some time ago...:

Of course i don't mind. However, i think you have to agree that the current RP7 logo is way too simple. Yours is a bit too bright, otherwise it looks nice.
