Well, according to search results this problem was already discussed, but still it's not rly solved yet.
When I try cutting off even the minor junk AND integrating updates, I get a reboot-loop saying "configuring updates: stage 3 of 3" after the installation. If I do not integrate updates with the same build it installs correctly, but right after I turn on automatic updates and reboot pc, it starts this loop anyway.
I've tryed to keep almost everything and now I'm cutting only such minor junk like languages, drivers and hardware support only - keeping all that major junk like uac, protector etc.
What's the problem? If the problem was in one of the updates then it would solve itself by not integrating it, but still even if I don't integrate, windows update should find updates only for needed things, and even if it does find some updates that cannot be installed, it should give me an error, not a system-killing reboot-loop.
Any ideas?
