Too nice and reliable, even if the last version (5.01) is a bit slow instead of its previous version (but full of new features)

probably harder to make a user-friendly skin for WMP than for winamp

But..... VLC is really excellent as it reads everything from DVD to music playlists.
Okay its not very pretty but the good thing is works.
Oh, and if I just want to listen to a song that I've just downloaded I use Picaview.

I tried using Foobar2000 for audio a while back... just didn't have the right feel to it. Winamp 5.08e with classic skins, Global Hotkeys, and the Media Library just can't be beat.
WMP10 is just big a fugly... too much fancy crap in there. WMP9 with the classic skin is good enough for me.
