I am running Vista on a Thinkpad T61 - 3 gig memory

I have tried many times using both nLite and VLite to make a bootable, Lite install -
each time it gets about 2/3 of the way through the final processing and freezes up,
effectively ending my session. This is with all other apps - including any anti-virus software -
turned off.

IS there a fix for this?

I really want to get a non-bloated MS OS installed.

Both nLite and vLite freeze for you?

If that is so I would say it could be a heat issue. Try some stress test like a long SuperPI calculation (search web for link).

It runs Super PI just fine. Doesn't seem hot.
