You need to download updates for your languages. Also, that list is not updated for long time. Follow link I gave in my previous post. Download that tool, and look for updates you need in help file. But, don't forget to download for your language, since that help file also have English updates.

Cheers ;)

yeapp..I installed a fresh office from my source, then installed SP3..after that I went to MS update and I noted all automatic updates that shown by MS..and then just type google "office 2003 KBXXXXXX"..and download all these 15 updates from MS..and try again..and now it's perfect..I don't understand what cause this, but maybe old updates..also I chain office 2007 complatibility pack and it's update now everything seem ok..
thanks @mara..with your slipstreamer it's soo simple..

Hi mara & others.

In first place, sorry for my english, im spanish and not very used to write it.

I have been messing around office 2003 these past days, and i have encountered the same error manually or with your software. Maybe you can help me.

I have both, Retal and VLK versions of Office 2003 Profesional SPANISH. (Lets put the Retail apart).

On DIY process, using VLK, i made
setup.exe /a
for admin install
Im asked to put key and data...i configured to "install/extract" on D:\office, use key XXXXX-... and all that stuff
Meanwhile, i extract SP3 doing something like
Office2003SP3-KB923618-FullFile-ESN.exe /q /c /t:D:\temp

After both ended, i tried to integrate with
	msiexec /p D:\temp\MAINSP3.msp /a D:\office\PRO11.msi SHORTFILENAMES=TRUE /qb
	msiexec /p D:\temp\OWC11SP3.msp /a D:\office\OWC11.MSI SHORTFILENAMES=TRUE /qb

Integration runs perfectly and MSIs & EXE are modified.
Its similar whats your software does.

Apart from that, i use this integrated installation to create a MST witn ORK to put the same key, packackes to install...

But after burning it to an ISO, during install it request for original CD.

Any idea?

PS: Spanish version for your app. uploaded :)

Please upload your log of the Slipstreamer, located in folder where tool is installed. Screen shoot of prompt for original CD would be also helpful.

Cheers ;)

There is nothing wrong with slipstream. But you screen shot does not tell me anything. If you can, just for testing, start Office installation with no switches and with no MST, so we can see on which file is Office complaining. When error appears, make new screen shot so text with error is visible.

Cheers ;)

it is possible integrate language pack into Office 2007 (For me example czech lang into english Office)?
I create translated lang for slipstreamer. Soon..
/edit: I tested.. CTRL+C CTRL+V.. Copy all file from lang pack except setup.exe, readme.htm and autorun.inf to office folder. It work for me.. When run setup.exe, I see menu, where I can choose install Office or Czech lang pack.

I had problem when installing Direct Slipstreamed Office 2003 Traditional Chinese version from CD.

It asked for CS561402.cab from CD but it was present in the CD.

I tried to install it from network folder, it installed fine.

It happened either with or without transforms file.

I had no problem with my English version.

Try with Office Integrator, you have link in my signature. I don't develop Slipstreamer anymore, I'm working on Office Integrator now, with benners.

Cheers ;)

Since I don't have any original copy of Office2k, support for it is very low. But I can still try to help you. Where do you get prompt for CD key, from the Slipstreamer, or from Office 2000 setup? If from setup, then you need to enter it, since slipstreaming to Office 2k requires creation of administrative install, before slipstream.

Cheers ;)

uh, I do! I have original Office 2000 CD if any of you Office 2k users are using Office 2000 Premium edition. I'll test out the latest available version of Office Slipstreamer with my Office 2k Premium CD since Office Integrator won't support Office 2000 and never will.

unlike Nexus_06's edition of O2k, mine does ask for product key during setup AND is a retail version. could be the way the data.msi file is constructed.

Quote

Is there a list for Office2k updates? I have SR-1 and would like to know what updates I need, and if I need client or full?

I can provide you with a list of Office 2000 updates, Nexus_06. email me or send me PM.

I no longer agree with that statement. try doing the slipstream of Office 2000 using handyjap's way:

quote from the old Office 2000 Slipstreaming thread-

DO NOT CREATE AN ADMINISTRATIVE INSTALLATION !!!!!
I tried that to no avail.

Download Administrative Updates for
SR-1a (138MB)
http://download.microsoft.com/download/off...EN-US/data1.exe
and SR-3 (58MB) http://download.microsoft.com/download/off...-US/o2ksp3a.exe

Copy the contents of the CD's to a directory of choice from now on called <cd>.

Extract the msp files from the Service Release to an directory of choise from now on called <updates>
<service release exe> /T:<updates> /C

Now, SR-1a have to be applied first (so I am a bit over descriptive, bear with me):
MSIEXEC.EXE /A <cd>DATA1.MSI /P <updates>DATA1.MSP SHORTFILENAMES=TRUE /QB+

Then for SR-3, all 3 msp's might have to be applied, depending on the CD and version of Office 2000 you have:
MSIEXEC.EXE /A <cd>DATA1.MSI /P <updates>ARTSP3FF.MSP SHORTFILENAMES=TRUE /QB+
MSIEXEC.EXE /A <cd>DATA1.MSI /P <updates>MAINSP3FF.MSP SHORTFILENAMES=TRUE /QB+
MSIEXEC.EXE /A <cd>DATA1.MSI /P <updates>SP3CD2FF.MSP SHORTFILENAMES=TRUE /QB+

There you have it, just completed it as I was typing, hope it works for you too.

Thanks to:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...kb;EN-US;257983

Doing the O2k slipstream with Office Slipstreamer didn't quite work the way I want it as Office 2000 setup asks for certain files from the Program Files folder instead of the Pfiles folder when I ran O2k setup. Doing it handyjap's way was far better.

hello, I can not check the option "Direct Slipstream" when trying to add the Office 2007 Professional, I can not add updates or service packs and less extra files, but with Microsoft Office 2003 if I can do it, why?
Ahh, and I tell you, very good version 1.4 of nero 9 lite, for the next version adds Microsoft Visual C + + 2005 SP1 Redistributable to the installation so it is easier and looks better, bye and thanks!
