I try to boot the mini note from USB key it is OK

fail to copy the file : IMEPADEN.HLP

1. The file IMEPADEN.HLP might be missing in the source

Check on CD \I386 and in C:\XPCD\I386 and on your stick in $WIN_NT$.~LS\I386 if File IMEPADEN.HLP is present.

If file is NOT present on both locations then have a look at file TXTSETUP.SIF in root of USB-stick.

Open TXTSETUP.SIF in Notebook and search for IMEPADEN.HLP.

You might try to place a ; in front of the entry with IMEPADEN.HLP and then Save the TXTSETUP.SIF file.

Or you might simply remove the line with IMEPADEN.HLP in TXTSETUP.SIF

Then Boot from USB-stick and select TXT-mode setup again.

2. The file IMEPADEN.HLP might be not copied from CD to XP Source and to the USB-stick.

In that case try to copy I386\IMEPADEN.HLP to $WIN_NT$.~LS\I386 on stick

For the XP Setup Procedure read carefully the End Help Screen when FileCopy to USB-stick is Finished.

*** HELP for Using MultiBoot USB-Drive *** Read Help_USB_MultiBoot.txt File

Boot with USB-Drive plugged and Press [Delete] or F2 to Enter BIOS Setup

Change BIOS Boot Settings:

Harddisk is First Boot Device Type and USB-Drive is seen as First Harddisk

Reboot from USB-Drive and Make Selection from Boot Menu

=============================================================================

***** HELP for Using USB-Drive for Install of Windows XP: *****

First Remove ALL Other USB-Drives ** So Harddisk in Setup gets DriveLetter C

Reboot from USB-Drive and Select 1. TXT Mode Setup Windows XP

Use Only C: Drive of Computer Harddisk as Partition for Install of Windows XP

and then Select Quick Format with NTFS FileSystem, XP Install is Automatic

***** NEVER UNPLUG USB-Drive ***** Until After First Logon of Windows XP

New Harddisk and Creating Partitions after Booting from USB-Drive:

Direct after Deleting and Creating New partitions, Quit XP Setup with F3

OR Switch OFF your Computer and Boot in any case from USB-Drive again and

Run 1. TXT Mode Setup again so that DriveLetters get their Correct Value

So in this case one Boots ** TWICE ** in the TXT-mode Setup

Normally You Install after Quick Format on the C-partition already present

and you don't create partitions.

After Creating New partitions you have to Finish Setup with F3 and Reboot

so that first part of TXT-mode Setup is done TWICE.

Also you don't mention if BIOS was set properly so that every Reboot occurs from USB.

These remarks can help to overcome future problems,

but are not the cause of your present problem,

which is probably determined by Filecopy Error from CD to your C:\XPCD folder ;)

Succes :)

EDIT: I see ilko_t has found already the cause of your problem while I was typing this text :)
