Win2K Password Finder No setting new one, actually recover!

I've searched all over searching engines. That's right! AND STILL no Windows 2000 Password Finder/Recover
The keywords might eaisly be found on google but the software always SETS a new password to the system but never recover's it

the password is stored in a .sam file. you cannot edit this file or tamper with it while the file is being used, which is when the OS it is tied to is runing.
An Excellent password recovery tool for NT based systems is L0phtcrack from @Stake Software
Good luck, if theres a password there, L0phtcrack will find it.

Agreed. A great utility. Also to consider: if installed on a FAT32 partition, you can manually deleted the the file and to blank the password.

There is a better for all version NT based systems and passwords.
