You can add registration info in a batch file. Should look like this:
@echo off
start /wait setup.exe
REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\TechSmith\SnagIt\9" /v "RegistrationKey" /t REG_SZ /d "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" /f
REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\TechSmith\SnagIt\9" /v "RegisteredTo" /t REG_SZ /d "User Name" /f
exit

Where setup.exe is name of addon. Entries.ini need some changes too.

If you made a new silent installer and keep the name you don't need to edit entries.ini

Did it like this:
I made an CMD called registersnagit9.cmd
Put the following in:

Quote

@echo off
REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\TechSmith\SnagIt\9" /v "RegistrationKey" /t REG_SZ /d "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" /f
REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\TechSmith\SnagIt\9" /v "RegisteredTo" /t REG_SZ /d "Name" /f
EXIT

i'm waiting for them to release it in .MSI format which they haven't yet done. I've been checking their site everyday (there should be a 901 folder there below the 900 folder when they update). will update as soon as it's available

last time i checked the .EXE installer didn't install silently which is why I prefer to use the .MSI installer for the silent addon.

I use the .msi file (created in Temp folder after I started .exe).
