COKEDUDEUSF
Can someone please tell how to disable this stupid Work offline message.http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh133/C...ORK_OFFLINE.jpgThe only thing that looked remotely helpful on google was this: Using regedit, find the folder:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WebCheckAnd check that these two *String* keys are set to auto:"LoadSens"="auto""LoadLCE"="auto"Create them if necessary! I have all of those settings already. I hope somebody has some ideas cause this is driving me crazy.
Mr Snrub
When is the message presented?- every time you launch a particular program?- at random?- every X minutes if there is no DHCP lease on the client?- after starting Windows it pops up once at the beginning of the session?Have you tried disabling the WebClient service as a test? You could use Process Monitor to see what processes are checking for those registry values you created, it might give some clues... Last night I was burning some DVD's and it happened many times. How do I use process Monitor and What do I want to look for?
Mr Snrub
I put some instructions for setting up Process Monitor here - and if you scroll up a little bit on that page there is a link to a quick search for finding where you can upload to various free file hosting sites. It is MUCH easier to read ProcMon logs if you don't have lots of processes running at the same time while taking the trace, btw.Keep the trace as short as possible - start logging, reproduce the error message and then stop logging as quickly as possible.
