Hello.

I'm receiving my new laptop tomorrow or the next day, and it's my first touch with Vista.

It's packed with Vista Home Premium.

I've used nLited XP Pro for audio work and it's amazing!

Anyone around who has a "preset" or sort of a profile to rip Vista down for pure audio work, as a DAW-machine?

Select Recommended compatibility option and remove all else :)
You might also select Windows Update compatibility.

OK, here is my answer to my question. I'm not sure about how this could be done with vLite in a one rippingoff-session, but anyway this is a good start to make audio with Vista.
